R U OK? HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN SHARE KIT

R U OK? have produced free tips and practical resource tools to empower Australians to support those they care about during the holiday season. ‘Tis the season to be asking R U OK?encourages all of us to meaningfully connect with those in our world who may be struggling during a time of year which can evoke complex emotions. 


Why the holiday period?


The upcoming holiday season can bring feelings of joy and togetherness, but for others, it can amplify loneliness, isolation, financial pressure or grief - making connection even more important.

The R U OK? holiday campaign seeks to remind all Australians of the various struggles that people in their world might be experiencing, but most importantly the role that they can play in providing care and practical support through this time. 


A genuine ‘are you OK?’, asked with care, followed by listening and offering support can make a real difference to those navigating a difficult time. Our latest research shows 88% of those asked, felt grateful, supported, and cared for(1).
