2022 with R U OK?

hello • 21 December 2022

Every day we hear from Australians who share with us the positive impact an R U OK? conversation has had in their life or how by asking,  'are you OK?', they've helped someone in their world find support. The video below shares some of the stories of 2022 that remind us that a conversation can truly change a life.

Holiday office closure

The R U OK? office is closed from Thursday 22 December and will reopen Tuesday 10 January.

If you are experiencing difficult emotions during the Christmas/New Year holiday period, please consider calling Lifeline on 13 11 14 for a confidential listening ear, any time of the day or night. If you are concerned for your own safety or that of others, please call Triple Zero (000).

You can also find information about support services on the R U OK? website here. We also encourage those who are well and able to find time over the holiday period to check in with those in their world who might be struggling. You can find ’Tis the season to be asking R U OK?’ connection tips and resources here.
